A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Sistrunk, age 80,  of Neshoba County died Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Neshoba County Nursing Home.

Survivors:

1 Daughter: Cherie McElhenney and husband Jason

6 Grandchildren: Eric McElhenney (Bristina), Brady McElhenney (Lalah), Ali McElhenney, Jacob Hemphill (Lauren), Logan Hemphill and Matthew Hemphill

4 Great Grandchildren

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Sistrunk was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell Sistrunk and Fronie Sistrunk; two daughters, Cheryl Sistrun and Gail Hemphill and numerous siblings.
