Funeral services for Mr. William"Oliver" Neese will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Milling Funeral Home of Union at 2:00PM. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until service time. Burial will take place in Mount Zion Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery in Union, MS. Bro. Ben Harper will officiate.

William Neese, 92, passed away on November 23, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents: William and Erma Neese; brothers: Cecil Neese, Alton Neese, and Luther Neese; sisters: Lessi Fryer, Elba Savell, and Sara Estes.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Sarah Neese; daughter: Cathy Jackson; son: Wendell Jeff Neese; grandchildren: Dreama Savell, Misty Savell, and Shaun Savell; four great grandchildren; and brother: Kenneth Neese.

Mr. William Neese dedicated his life to serving his community through various leadership roles. He served as Administrator of the Newton County Civil Defense Program and as President of the Newton County Rescue Squad. A skilled entrepreneur, he owned and operated Neese Jewelers for many years.

Mr. Neese was a proud 32nd Degree Mason of the Scottish Rite and a member of Masonic Lodge #77. His faith was central to his life, and he was a devoted member of Mount Zion Congregational Methodist Church.

He will be remembered for his commitment to service, his craftsmanship, and his unwavering dedication to his community and faith.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Keith Comans, John Rush, Danny Savell, Heath Adkinson, Terry Buckley, and Boonie Buckley.
