Union: Memorial services for Mr. William Anthony "Tony" Grimes will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union. Bro. Rusty Walton will be officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Mr. Grimes passed away on October 12, 2024.

William Anthony (Tony) Grimes was born in Sheffield, Alabama, on October 14, 1965. He grew up in the Shoals area of North Alabama, fishing and camping on the Tennessee River. Growing up in the music culture of Muscle Shoals, he developed a love for music. His favorite pastime was playing the drums and watching Alabama Football. Roll Tide! He was a beloved husband, father, and Big Poppa. He will be missed beyond measure. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Eubanks, Dr. Dulaney, and the entire staff at Baptist Anderson Regional Cancer Center.

2 Sons: Jesse Grimes (Brandi)

Joshua "Jo Jo" Grimes (Ashton)

Jesse's Mother: Tabitha Wright

7 Grandchildren: Brailee, Brayden, Russ, Jed, Hadley, Liam and Oakley

1 Brother: Jimmy Grimes

Mr. Grimes is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Grimes and Betty Barth; one brother, Roger Grimes and one sister, Brenda Worely.
