Services for Mrs. Waudine Williamson will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Pine Grove Church of God in Dixon. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Milling Funeral Home of Union.  There will also be a visitation Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Pine Grove Church of God beginning at 10:00 AM until service time.  Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery. Bro. Mitchell Graham will officiate.

Mrs. Williamson, 89, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024. She was born on August 29, 1935.

Mrs. Williamson is preceded in death by her husbands, Hines Melton Platt, and Boyd Williamson; son, Vernon Platt (Kim), daughters; Wanda Platt and Christy Nester, an infant son; a great grandson; brothers, Lamar Cole, Alton Cole (Jean); and sister, Pauline Dearman (Leo).

She is survived by sons, Rusty Williamson (Debbie), and Boyd Platt (Erin); daughter, Leah Dupre (Aaron); grandchildren: Kerry Bradford, Kyle Grace (Abby), Tyson Pomelia (Cole),  Amanda Nester, Russell Williamson (Jamie), McGuire Beech (Braxton),and Caleb Bradford (Rose);  numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Myrtis Yates; sister-in-law, Dean Cole; son-in-laws, Lamar Jones and Don Nester (Teresa); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Williamson was a lifelong member of Pine Grove Church of God in Dixon.  She was proud of the years as a volunteer at Newton County School.  Her family was very important to her; she enjoyed cooking for them and fellowshipping with them.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Mark Yates, Nathan Yates, Sam Yates, Aaron Dupre, Caleb Bradford, Erick Lashley.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mike Cole, Ronnie Cole, Bennie Lee Adkins, Larry Cole, and Anthony Cole.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Pine Grove Church of God 12491 Rd 127, Union, MS 39365.
