UNION: Services for Ms. Verdie Loper will be held 12 pm, Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with burial in the Union City Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Jones will officiate.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at Milling Funeral Home of Union.

Ms. Loper, age 83, of Brandon died Thursday, December 26, 2024.

Survivors:

2 Daughters: Rena Jones (Steve) and Wanda Mathis (Mike)

1 Son: Bennie Earl Loper

4 Grandchildren: Caitlin Bradshaw, Rebecca Jones, Garrett Pond and Amber Goodman

2 Sisters: Madge Mayfield and Lynnett  McTurner

Brother: Huey Bell

Ms. Loper is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Loper; brothers, A.C. Bell, Truman Bell, Kirby Bell,  Robert Bell, Marvin Bell; sister, Dorothy Sumrall and parents, Huey and James Minnie Bell.
