Services for Ms. Vera Mae Hedrick King will be held 11 a.m.,Tuesday, June 18 at Milling Funeral Home of Union Chapel with burial to follow at Evans Tabernacle Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:30-11:00 prior to the service. Bro. Ricky Boler will officiate.

Ms. Vera King, age 68, of Union died Friday, June 14, 2024.

She is survived by her children; Christopher King, Susan Bozeman  (Tony), Tiffany Rushing (Mickey) and Bryan King (Christina), 12 grandchildren: James King,  Allie King,  Tony Bozeman Jr, Katelan Bozeman, Leigha Bozeman, Lane Rushing, Charity Rushing, Troy Rushing, Shayla Rushing, Kiley King, Robert King, Emiley King,  5 great-grandchildren: Wilson Fincher, Dawson Rushing, Lanie Rushing, Bryant Rushing and Elliot Rushing, 5 brothers: Lynn Wilkinson (Lou), George Hedrick, Joe Hedrick (Laurie), Billy Hedrick (Becky) and Cullen Hedrick (Shelia), 2 sisters  Karon Overton (Mackie) and Rita Ryals (Kirk). She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and both parents.

Pallbearers will be Tony Bozeman Jr., Dalton Wilkinson, Troy Rushing, William Craven, Zack  Overton, and Stance Edwards. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Scarbough and Andy Wilkinson.
