Services for Mr. Thomas Harlan Smith, Sr will be held at 10am, Wednesday, December 14 ^th at Brandon Baptist Church of Brandon, MS. Visitation will be from 9-10:00am, Wednesday, at the church.

Dr. Clarence Cooper and Pastor Gayden Harrell of Brandon Baptist will be officiating.

Survivors include:

His son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Harlan Smith. Jr and Regina Smith

4 Grandchildren: Jade, Trae, Lynnlea and Harlan

1 Sister: Penney Smith Stokes

2 Brothers: Jeff Smith (Beth) and David Smith (Pansy)

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Alma Smith and his sister: Cathy Smith Nash

Mr. Thomas Smith was a loving father, grandfather, sibling and friend.  He was admired by many and loved by most. After acquiring a Masters Degree in Vocal Studies at New Orleans Theological Seminary, he went on to be the first guitar player for TRUTH who were Gospel Music Hall of Fame Inductees in 2000. He then went on to extend his love of music by teaching and working with many churches, ministries and musical groups throughout his career.  He was blessed with the ability to entertain and touch hearts with his musical ability and charismatic personality.  His memories will be greatly missed and cherished for years to come.
