Please join us as we celebrate the life of Theresa Van Doren. Visitation will take place from 9:30 - 10:30 am on Thursday, April 17, followed by a memorial service from 10:30 - 11:30 am, at Midway Baptist Church, 4579 Old 8th St Rd N, Meridian. We welcome all who loved and cherished Theresa to come and share in this special time of remembrance. In honor of Theresa's vibrant spirit, we encourage you to incorporate her favorite color, pink, into your attire - whether it's a pink scarf, hat, or pair of shoes. Your thoughtful tribute will serve as a beautiful reminder of Theresa's joyful presence in our lives.

Ms. VanDoren, age 54, of Meridian died Sunday, March 30, 2025.

Theresa's life was a Celebration of Life. She loved to celebrate everything! In addition to holidays, she celebrated birthday, seasons, new television shows, chocolate chip day, you name it.

She loved making people smile. She celebrated being alive and celebrated God's faithful care for her. You can't fake happiness! She was filled with joy and thankfulness and celebrated every day.

Theresa loved being a part of the Great Southern family. She tried hard to be a good family member. Great Southern, in return showed much love and compassion to her.

She loved her family passionately. She especially adored Samuel and Emma. She's watching over them from heaven, for sure.

She dearly loved her grandparents and is tricking them and fussing over them today. She enjoyed being reunited with them.

Most of all, Theresa loved and celebrated her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Those years that she was sick, she would pray daily for others and thank God for her wonderful life. She sang praises and read scriptures. She looked forward to being with Jesus. She would say to you, "God has healed me. I'm FREE, let's celebrate!"
