Susie Pearson Weaver

June 6, 1934 – May 1, 2020

Decatur: A private graveside service for Mrs. Susie Weaver will be held Monday, May 4, at Conehatta Methodist Church Cemetery at 11:30. A public, outdoor memorial service will follow the graveside service at Hickory Baptist Church at 12:45 to celebrate a life well-lived.

Susie "Sue" Weaver, 85, born on June 6, 1934, to Clifton and Susie Pearson. Sue passed away Friday, May 1 at Bedford Care in Newton, MS.

Sue was a resident of Decatur, MS and an active member of Clarke-Venable Baptist Church until her health declined. When she wasn't in the kitchen cooking, Sue could be found going through her recipe book. She loved her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. She cherished her time as a military wife and all of the memories made during that time. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She believed in the Lord and knew where she was going when her time on Earth was over.

Grandchildren: LeAnn (Luke) Little, Curt (Lisa) Weaver, Brian Weaver, Tiffany (Daniel) Boyd, Kevin Bennett, Cameron (Kaitlyn) Weaver, Caleb (Kirsten) Weaver

Great Grandchildren: Destiny Barrett, Daulton Barrett, Juliana Weaver, Gaines Boyd, Gianna Little, Keyton Boyd, Isabella Weaver, Ali Grace Boyd, Lila Bennett, Zorah Rose Weaver, Maverick Weaver

Brother: Edward Earl Pearson

Sisters: Ann Jenkins, Vernice Delaney, Georgia Lavigne

Mrs. Weaver is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Weaver, and her son, Jeff Weaver. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Susie Pearson, and her siblings Forest, H.J., and Randall "Sonny Boy" Pearson.
