UNION: Services for Ms. Susie James of Little Rock, MS will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Milling Funeral Home of Union with burial in the Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Wayne Stockstill and Bro. Rusty Walton will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9:30 till service time Wednesday at Milling Funeral Home of Union.

Ms. James, 56, passed away September 12, 2026.

Daughter: Nancy Rainer (Billy) 

Son: Justin James (Erica)

Mother: Carolyn Hale

Sisters: Jeanette Rowell and Andrea Higgins

Stepson: Robert James (Linda)

Stepdaughters: Wendy Rogers, Glendy Williams and Lisa Clarke

Grandchildren: Jerry Rainer, Alton Rainer, Joseph Downing, James Rainer, and a host of step grandchildren and great grand-children.

She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Ms. James is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie James; her father, Vernon McManues Sr and her brother, Vernon McManues Jr.
