UNION: Services for Mr. Richard Jr. Hoye will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 01, 2024 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union. Burial will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery. Minister Printice Horton and Pastor Jerry Jones will officiate. Tony Harris will bring the message in song.

Visitation will be held from 10;00-11:00 a.m. prior to Chapel services.

Mr. Richard Jr. Hoye, age 60, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024.

He attended Union Public School and graduated Job Corp in Tennessee. He worked at Apache and Tri-C as long as he was able.

Survivors:

4 Children: Special Daughter: Mariah Hoye (Marshall), Teresa Broadnax (Hubert), Kimberly Loper (Paul), and Charlotte Loper (Tornto)

16 Grandchildren: Ja'Tasia, Eryanna, Dominique, Hubert, Marlon, Marquesha, Marion, Skyler, Markeion, La'Kya, Paul, Cameron, Carmen, Malachi, Diamond and Marshad

6 Siblings: Ronald Thames (Helen), Susan Hoye (Jeffery), Charles Hoye, Tawanna Hunter, Mary Brant, and Sharon Boler (Quinton)

1 Brother in Law: Robert Lee Gibson and wife Ruthie

Mr. Richard Hoye is also survived by his love of 33 years, Patty Loper.

He also is survived by a host of family and friends.

Mr. Hoye is preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Thames and his parents, Roxie Hunter and Grady Hoye.
