Rebecca Ann Nicholson Brumlow, 83, of Trussville, Alabama, passed away on March 8, 2024 after a brief illness.

Becky was born on June 1, 1940, to Shelby and Olive Nicholson in Meridian, Mississippi. After she graduated from high school in 1958, she moved to Mobile, Alabama and became a government worker, ultimately retiring as a GS14.

In 1959, she met James Brumlow at Kiesler Air Force Base and  went on to have three children, Lori (Gene) of Dayton, Ohio, David (Stephanie) of Jasper, Alabama, and Jeffrey (Donna) of Hoover, Alabama.

In 2004, Rebecca retired and moved from Ohio to Trussville, Alabama to spend her time enjoying her sons and grandchildren.

Rebecca is survived by her three children, her grandchildren  Joseph Hurst, Jennifer, and Cheryl, ,Ashley Antonio, and Jonathan Brumlow, Victoria Miles, Gregory, Rebekah Hostetler, Irelyne, Dalton, Moriyah, and Elisheva.

Visitation will be held Thursday March 14, 2024 from 4pm- 6pm at Milling Funeral Home in Union.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 Friday March 15, 2024 at Rock Branch Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Jude Children's Hospital, an organization Becky felt strongly about.
