Rachel Shaw Mulholland came into the world as Rachel Glene (pronounced Jah-lean) Shaw on December 16, 1938, in Neshoba County, Mississippi. As the youngest of nine children in the Shaw family she was fortunate to have parents who believed in teaching the values & benefits of growing up in a loving, Christian home. As an adult, she took those values and beliefs and instilled them in the rearing of her own children. She took great pride in the accomplishments and abilities of her family, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her southern charm and hospitality were apparent even during the straightforwardness that she was known for.
Rachel will be remembered by all of us as a wonderful Mother, who lovingly rushed in all the birthdays, anniversaries, and significant dates in the family, as well as ensuring each member understood their assignments for any of the events.
She will be extremely missed but we are all grateful to have had her for the time that God gave her to the world.
