Ms. Peggy Euleta Morrow passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus at the age of 90 on Monday, January 8th, 2024 in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where she lived happily for the last ten years.
Born on December 18th, 1933, in the small town of Fargo, Clinch County, Georgia, Ms. Peggy exemplified the teachings and servitude commanded of us by our Lord Jesus Christ. She was a loving mother, devoted wife, beloved friend, and a wonderful "Grandmommy" to her grandchildren.
A Pastor's daughter, Ms. Peggy dedicated her life to the service of others. She ministered at Sebastopol Baptist Church, caring for the sick and shut-ins as well as being involved in church outreach ministries, VBS and leading WMU Ladies Bible study. She served her community as the City Clerk and as an Alderman for the City of Sebastopol.
The love and joy she brought to this world will be deeply missed by her friends and family. She spent her entire life serving our Lord Jesus and she will spend eternity at the feet of Jesus surrounded by her loved ones that have gone on before her.
She is preceded in death by her late husband: L.C. "Pete" Morrow, son: Oscar Morrow, mother: Nora Waters Rives & father: O.J. Rives, Sr., and sister: Frances Stokes.
Those left to cherish her legacy on Earth are her son: Mark Morrow and wife Chris, daughter: Becky Jones, seven grandchildren: Emily M. Yoder and husband Jordan, Elyse Morrow, Brandi Jones, Carrie Frierdich, Janet Jordan, Carty Morrow, & Christopher Morrow and two brothers, O.J. Rives, Jr. and William H. Rives. She also leaves behind numerous great grandchildren.
