Graveside services for Mrs. Peggy Bishop will be held 2 pm, Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Rev. Thomas Laird will officiate.

Mrs. Bishop, age 70, of Hickory, died on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at her residence.

Survivors:

Loving husband of 55 years: Kent Bishop of Hickory

2 Daughters: Lisa Roebuck and husband Paul of Newton

Gina Usry and husband Bert of Brandon

1 Son: Randy Bishop and wife Shea of Hickory

10 Grandchildren: Lance Roebuck, Kendall Roebuck, Colby Bishop and wife Ashley, Kirby Bishop and  wife Jade, Shelby Bishop, Darby Bishop, Abby Ursy, Hannah Usry, Wil Usry, Luke Usry

6 Great-grandchildren

She was also survived by several nieces and nephews and one special nephew Junior Laird.

Mrs. Bishop was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Hamilton Measell; one sister, Pauline Laird and one brother, Kenneth Measell.

Her Grandsons are serving as Pallbearers: Lance Roebuck, Kendall Roebuck, Colby Bishop, Kirby Bishop, Wil Usry, Luke Usry
