Pauline Pullin Germany Gomillion went to be with her Lord Jesus peacefully at Lairds Hospital on Mother's Day Sunday May 10, 2020. She was born on September 8, 1933 as the fifth of four daughters and three sons of the late Carl and Lena Pullin and lived her entire life in Union, Mississippi. Pauline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great – grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Pauline loved her family and her Lord as was evident by her devotion to her church and church family. She was active member for many years at Bluff Springs Church of God where she served as a pianist and in numerous other capacities. She was known throughout Union as a dedicated hard working employee for the Sunflower and Piggly Wiggly businesses. She also served as a business owner alongside of her late husband Watt Germany at the Phillips 66 and Texaco Service Stations. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Union where her and her late Husband Billy Jack "Pop" Gomillion worshiped regularly. Their dedication and influence in and around the church will be missed.
Pauline is survived by her children Paula Massey and husband Mike of Decatur: Rex Germany and wife Margaret of Union: grandchildren Carrie Horn and husband Shawn of Decatur; Dana Massey of Pelahatchie; Brittany Bennett and husband Brandon of Collinsville; Tyler Germany and special friend Jessica Mitchell of Union. Her great-grandchildren are Karsyn Germany, Ridge Bennett, and Collins Bennett. She is survived by her brother Raymond Pullin and wife LaHara of Union. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in a large extended family.
Pauline was preceded in death by her Husband's Homer Watkins "Watt" Germany and Billy Jack Gomillion; Brothers Grady Pullin and Dee Pullin; Sisters Lola Kate McElmore, Joyce Mae Germany and Ruthlene Chance.
Due to the current situation, the family will have a private family viewing at Milling Funeral Home in Union, MS with a graveside service at New Ireland Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday May 12, 2020. Services will be conducted by Rev. Ken Lynch and Dr. Jon Martin. Pallbearers will be Edward Germany, Mark Pullin, Willie Pullin, Micheal Germany, Joel Germany, Shawn Horn, Brandon Bennett, and Tyler Germany. Your prayers for the family are coveted at this time. Donations can be made to the New Ireland Cemetery Fund 9397 Hwy 492 Union, MS 39365.
