Funeral Services for Michael Lang will be held 10:00am Wednesday January 28, 2026 at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church in Sebastopol. Visitation will be held Tuesday January 27, 2026 from 5:00-8:00 at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church. Burial will be at Greenland Cemetery in Union.

Rev. Mark Copeland will officiate the service.

Mr. Lang, 76 of Sebastopol, passed away Sunday January 25, 2026 at his residence.

Survivors include:

Wife: Shelia Lang

Children:  Stephanie Hodges (Randall), Melissa Williams, Jeremy Belk (April), Nicholas Lang, Allison Dennis (Wesley)

Grandchildren: Lane Rushing, Olivia Broome, Ronnie Williams, Jude Belk, Charlee Belk, Mariah Belk, Matthew Lang, Ryan Lang, Charlie Lang, Waylon Dennis, Liza Dennis, Ava Dennis

Mike is also survived by one great-grandchild.

One Brother: Max Lang (Hilda)

One Sister: Debbie Madden (Joe)

Mike is preceded in death by his Parents: Murray & Willie Charles Lang; One Grandson: Wyatt Dennis

Serving as pallbearers will be: Brian Chisolm, Dylan Goss, Eric Adcock, Jeff Chisolm, Bryant Lang, and Scotty McPhail.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Paul Morrison, Jeff Goss, Joseph Lamb, and Scott Wells

Mike Lang was a lifelong resident of Sebastopol, Mississippi, and a proud graduate of Sebastopol High School, where he was voted Most Handsome by his classmates. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War and later spent his working years as a dedicated poultry farmer and truck driver. A skilled handyman and natural with tools, Mike could fix just about anything.

Mike was a faithful prayer warrior whose life reflected God's mercy and redeeming grace. He never met a stranger and was always full of life, laughter, and warmth. He deeply loved his wife of 37 years—when you saw one, you almost always saw the other.

In his spare time, Mike enjoyed deer hunting, gardening, and beekeeping. He loved to read, with the Bible being his favorite, and he also enjoyed history books and westerns, especially those by Louis L'Amour. Most of all, he cherished playing with his beloved grandchildren.

His life leaves a lasting legacy of faith, love, and joy.
