UNION: Services for Ms. Lois Pennington of Decatur will be held 3 pm, Sunday, December 08, 2024 at Decatur Methodist Church with burial in the Decatur City Cemetery. Bro. Bruce Taylor will officiate.

Visitation will be held 2 pm- 3pm, Sunday at Decatur Methodist Church.

Ms. Pennington, age 100, died Thursday, December 05, 2024.

She was a member of Decatur Methodist Church. She retired from Newton Public Schools.

Survivors:

3 Daughters: Jean Marks (Fred) of Canton, Kathy Pennington of Decatur and Cindy Pennington of Hattiesburg

2 Step Granddaughters

4 Great Grandchildren

3 Great Great Grandchildren

She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Ms. Pennington is preceded in death by her husband, James "Doc" Pennington; one brother, George Woodward and parents, George and Brunett Woodward.
