UNION: Services for Mrs. Laquita Jordan will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 01, 2026 at Hudson Chapel Church of God. Bro. Leray Evans and Bro. Paul Jordan will officiate the service. Burial will be held in church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 2-3p.m. prior to church service at Hudson Chapel Church of God.

Mrs. Jordan, age 73, of Union, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Ms. Laqutia was a member of Hudson Chapel Church of God. She worked in the medical field for 25 years at Laird Hospital and Hilltop Nursing Home, where she was recognized several times for her outstanding work. Ms. Laqutia will be remembered for having a open heart and open home for all her friends, family, and animals.

2 Grandsons: Austin Jordan of Union and Lincoln Jordan of Columbus

1 Granddaughter: Scarlett Jordan of Hawaii

1 Sister: Annette Green (Bobby) of Sebastopol

1 Brother: Sherman Stephens (Vickie) of Sebastopol

2 Brothers-in-Law: Paul Jordan of Walnut Grove and Johnny Jordan of Tampa FL.

1 Sister-in-Law: Nell Tune of Colorado

She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Jordan is preceded in death by her parents, Oree and Frances Stephens; son, Frankie Jordan; brother, Russell Stephens; four brothers-in-Law, Eddie Jordan, Neal Jordan, Keith (Bo) Jordan and Art Jordan, and five sisters-in-Law, Joanne Jordan, Effie Mitchem, Dorothy Jordan, Nancy Jordan and Yolanda Jordan.
