The Family of Ms. Katherine “Kay” Ethridge Scott will host a memorial service at 11:00am, Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Fellowship Hall of Clarke Venable Baptist Church in Decatur. The family will see friends Saturday from 10:00-11:00 in the fellowship Hall.

Ms. Scott, 64, of Decatur passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

Survivors include:

Husband: Jeff Scott

Mother: Virginia Ethridge

Children: Guy Rawson, IV (Lacey) and Ginger Harmon (James)

Grandchildren: Guy Rawson V, Maddox Rawson, Lee Harmon, Sara Bussey (John) and Eli Harmon

Ms. Kay was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Richard Ethridge and sisters, Jan Ethridge and Rita Curry.
