Funeral services for Mrs. Julie Turner Hall will be held 3 pm, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union. Burial will be held in the Union City Cemetery. Dr. Jon Martin will officiate.

Visitation will be held 1:30 pm - 3 pm, Saturday at Milling Funeral Home of Union.

Mrs. Hall, 51, of Union died Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.

As a young girl, Julie loved to go hunting with her father. She was quite the daddy's girl. Every Sunday she coerced her mama and daddy to help her hunt lizards, frogs or any kind of small varmint. They were kept in small containers throughout the house.

Julie was a 1987 graduate of Union High School and whatever interest she had, she dove in headfirst and gave it 110 percent.

In her early 20's, Julie began barrel racing in local arenas, mostly as a hobby and an extension of her love for horses. She once broke a wild mustang that had arrived to town from the Midwest. It only took Julie 21 days to break the horse.

After marrying Israel in 1996, they had Jordan in 2003. We all know that Jordan was the apple of her mother's eye. For the next 18 years, Julie devoted her life to nurturing Jordan and watching her grow into a beautiful young woman.  Julie rarely missed a game, a match, an event, a pageant and was always there cheering her beloved Jordan on (and quite loudly most of the time!!!).

About 8 years ago, fate would bring Julie and Lindsey together and they quickly realized their search for a soulmate was over. They shared the same sense of humor, a true love for fishing, music, concerts, a sense of adventure and a love for travel.

They've enjoyed numerous trips to the coast, three trips to Las Vegas and two unforgettable visits to Alaska and Ireland together. Julie could dine in a five-star restaurant but was more at home in an Irish pub or an ole Mississippi dive!

And you know she loved her Bulldogs and how fitting was it that she rang her cowbell so proudly just a couple of months ago, getting to celebrate that national championship!

But more than anything else, Julie enjoyed life and enjoyed her family and friends. She poured her heart and soul into making sure everyone had plenty to eat and had a good time.

So let's cry a little and laugh a lot and remember the good times and memories our sweet Julie has provided!  She left a remarkable legacy. We are very fortunate!

Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her father, James Wardell Frazier, one sister, Leigh Anne Frazier maternal and paternal grandparents.
