Mrs. Judy Ann (West) Chambers, 74, of Meridian, formerly of Moundsville, WV passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 at her home.

Judy was born May 14, 1947. She met the love of her life Myrl, while caring for his grandparents. They were married in August of 1969.

She spent her life selflessly caring for her kids and giving back to the community. She would volunteer at school functions, was a Cub Scout & Girl scout Leader, and was always involved in her church. During her free time she had a passion for art, baking themed cakes, canning, quilting, and completing puzzles with her Myrl.  When she moved to Meridian, she pursued her calling to become a minister.  .

As an ordained minister Judy served as Associate Pastor at CrossView Church in Collinsville. She regularly ministered with Pastor Jeff both to the congregation and community. She weekly ministered at the Righteous Oaks Recovery Center as well. She served many roles touching many lives. Crossview will forever be grateful for her faithfulness. Before moving to Mississippi, she attended Ash Avenue Church of God in Moundsville, WV.

Judy is survived by her children Shane Chambers (Jami) and Michelle Robinson (Fred Berisford). Grandchildren Brittany Nicole Robinson, Jordan Michael Chambers, Brianna Noelle Robinson, Bailey Nikelle Robinson, and Jaelyn Cheyenne Chambers. Great-grandchildren Teegan Thomas and Braxton Lane McBride. As well as her brother Thomas West (Betty), and her sister-in-law Maxine Smith, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Judy was adopted and deeply loved by Pastor Jeff Hancock, his wife Lisa, and sons, Josh, Caleb and Noah.

Mrs. Chambers is preceded in death by her husband, Myrl, parents Thomas O. and Ethel West, her sister-in-laws Flossie Otto and Dorothy Blake, and her brother-in-law Albert Chambers, Jr., as well as his father and mother-in-law Albert Chambers and Mildred Strahl.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to CrossView Church 9101 Church Rd, Collinsville, MS 39325, in lieu of flowers.
