Jimmie Ann Rhodes Piznar, 92, of Forest, MS, Passed away Monday February 19th, 2024.

She is survived by one son Paul M. Piznar (Treena) of Houston, Texas, andone daughter, Stephania P. Ferrell (Neel) of Forest, MS.Four grandchildren;Paige Sciba (Hadley), Natalie Beasley (Jordan), Sean Ferrell (Heather), Ian Ferrell (Jessica) and  sevengreat-grandchildren.

"Jiman" was proceeded in death by her husband, John F. Piznar and infant daughter, Nancy Lynn Piznar.

She was born August 14th, 1931 in Gordo Alabama to J.E. and Annie Gay Rhodes. She married Jack Piznar in Washington D.C. while working with the FBI. During the 50's they movedto Dade City, Florida where they started a family and Jack began his career in the Hotel and Restaurant business, which carried them around the United States. They chose to settle in Mississippi near both children, retiring to enjoy lifewith their grandchildren. She fondly became known as "Mam" not only by her grandchildren but also by all those who knew and loved her. She was passionate about gardening, canning, making the best plum jelly, quilting and sewing. She found joy in pouring out her talents as a seamstress; tailoring items for grandchildren, great-grands, and patients at the State's children's hospital. She loved a competitive game of dominos or cards, and could tell a good story. She leaves behind a legacy of gardening, cooking, and love of family.

The family will observe a private memorial on Horne Island where she willrest in peace with "Daddy Jack", the love of her life.
