Union:

Services for Mr. Jim Ashmore will be held 10 am, Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Neshoba Baptist Church with burial in the Neshoba Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Byron Howell, Rev. Rusty Walton and Rev. Warren Hedgepeth will officiate.

Visitation will be held 5 pm - 7 pm, Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Milling Funeral Home of Union.

Mr. Ashmore, 92, of Union, died on November 02, 2019 at his residence.

Mr.Jim Ashmore was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Ruth Ashmore and one sister, Ann Rutter.

Mr. Jim's mother, Ruth Ashmore began Union Florist in the back of her home in 1959. Mr. Jim took over the Florist in 1972 and with the help of his wife Doris, they continued the business until 2009. He was also elected Citizen of the Year in 2006.
