UNION:

Services for Ms. Janeiro Lorene Cranage will be held 3 pm, Monday, May 29, 2023 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with burial in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Lin Chesney and Bro. Rusty Walton will officiate.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Milling Funeral Home of Union.

Ms. Cranage, age 102, of Philadelphia passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Beehive Homes of Philadelphia.

After being raised in the House community, Lorene married Loren Cranage after his initial service in the military. As a married couple, they traveled to many American states and several foreign countries.

As he continued service in the Air Force, Lorene was also employed as a nurse in Murfreesboro, TN, before moving back to Union after her husband passed away in the mid 1970's.

Lorene kept the books for her brother, Gary's logging corporation until 1998. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Ms. Cranage was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Cranage, an Air Force Veteran; brothers, Horace and Ila Winstead, Elton and Barney Winstead, Chester and Flora Winstead,  Gervis and Thelma Winstead and Gary Winstead; and sister, Lydia and Abel Winstead Keen.
