Services for Mr. James "Jimmy"  Nicholson will be held 11 am, Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Rock Branch Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 9:30 am-11 am service time at Rock Branch Baptist Church.

Mr. Nicholson, age 95, of Little Rock died Wednesday, December 04, 2024.

He served as a faithful member and deacon at Oakland Heights Baptist Church, Beulah Baptist Church and Rock Branch Baptist Church.

He and his wife, Marie were owners of Nick's Dry Cleaners in Meridian for many years.

Mr. Nicholson served 41 years in the Air Guard and Air Force.

Survivors:

2 Sons: Barry Nicholson (Vivian) and Kary Nicholson (Brenda)

3 Grandsons: James Nicholson (Darren), Daniel Nicholson (Amanda), Timothy Nicholson (Evelin)

2 Granddaughters: Emily Thompson (Travis) and Ashley Massey (Chris)

5 Great Grandchildren: Jacob Thompson, Addison Massey, Olivia Thompson, Anslee Cate Massey and Eris Nicholson

Beloved Dog: Rocky

Mr. Nicholson is preceded in death by his wife: Marie Nicholson; siblings, Holcomb Nicholson, Frank Nicholson, Shelby Nicholson, Bruce Nicholson, Bobby Nicholson, Kenneth Nicholson, Odessa Wooten, Bessie Buntyn and Dot Mowdy.
