UNION: Services for Mr. James "Jimmy" Driskell, Jr will be held 11 am, Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. Rusty Walton and Bro. Lin Chesney will officiate.

Visitation will be held 9 am – 11 am, Thursday at Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Driskell, age 78, of Union died Sunday, September 07, 2025 at his residence.

He was a 1965 graduate of Union High School. He was a U.S. Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Phuloi Village during Vietnam. Mr. Driskell retired after 30 years from Marshall Ford. He was also a faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Wife: Dawn Driskell

Son: Nick Driskell

Sister: Carolyn Breland

Brothers In Law: John Smith (Terry) and Tommy Smith (JoAnn)

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Driskell is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Clara Stokes Driskell; 2 sisters, Billy Fae Driskell and Betty Jo Barham and one brother, Gerald Driskell.

Pallbearers: Bud Warren, Scott Hodges, Thomas Knight, Kelly Barham, Michael Smith, Billy Pat Walker, Larry Driskell and Matt Smith

Honorary Pallbearers: UHS Class of 1965 and "Steve Nelson" Sunday School Class
