UNION: Services for Mr. Jackie E. Gressett of Chunky will be held 11 am, Thursday, April 03, 2025 at Center Ridge Baptist Church with burial in the Chunky Cemetery. Bro. Eric Embrey will officiate.

Visitation will be held 9:30 am- 11 am service time at the church.

Mr. Gressett, age 71 died Monday, March 31, 2025.

He was a 1972 graduate of Hickory High School and was a member of Center Ridge Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from MDOT as an equipment operator.

Beloved Mother: Margaret Gressett

Children: Jacqueline Lavignara (Joseph), Lee Gressett (Jamie),  Scott Russell (Monica) and Dominique Russell

Grandchildren: Eli Gressett, Kaitlyn Lavignara,Tyler Lavignara, Logan Russell, MacKenzie Gressett, Savannah Russell, Kayden Payne, Dylan Gressett, Teighlor Gressett, Aubrey Russell and Sawyer Russell

Siblings: Larry Gressett (Terri), Kenneth Gressett (Chestene) and Ricky Gressett (Linda)

Mr. Gressett is preceded in death by his father, Lewis "Bunt" Gressett.
