UNION: Services for Mr. Howard Steve Moorehead of Union will be held 3 pm, Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with burial in the Union City Cemetery. Bro. Rusty Walton will officiate.

Visitation will be held 1 pm - 3 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Moorehead, age 73, of Union died Wednesday, May 14th, 2025.

Mr. Moorehead was a 1970 graduate of Union High School.

He attended East Central Community College then receiving a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Richmond where he played football.

Mr. Moorehead coached all types of sports at many schools throughout Mississippi. He was a member of the Union Masons for 41 years.

He loved playing golf.

He enjoyed coaching and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He was their biggest fan.

1 Daughter: Stevie Moore (Paul)

2 Grandchildren: Nathaniel and Mercy Rose Moore

1 Brother: Mike Moorehead (Martha)

Mr. Moorehead was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Senna Nell Moorehead, and his two brothers Butch Moorehead and Murray Moorehead.
