Union: Services for Mr. Horace Russell will be held 3 pm, Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. Sunday at Milling Funeral Home of Union.

Mr. Russell, age 98, of House community died Friday, May 23, 2025 at his residence.

He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He also retired from NAS Meridian in 1971.

Survivors:

Wife: Glenda Russell

Sons: Glenn Russell and Jeff Russell

Granddaughters: Brandi Smith (David), Courtney Russell, Kim Beard (Chris), Deanna Russell and Lynn

Great Grandchildren: Morgan Franklin, Gracie Franklin, Bella Grace Beard and Drew Smith

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Harmon & Vessie Russell; two brothers, Grady Russell and Thurman Russell; two sisters, Alene Logan and Mazel Goforth; first wife, Bobbye "Tootsie" Russell and daughter in law, Susan Russell
