Ms. Hazel “Cooter” Truhitt, age 79, of Union, passed away August 22, 2026. 

A private graveside service will be held at Greenland Cemetery.

Survivors:

1 Son: Jerry McCraw (Suzanne)

1 Daughter: Dee Dee McCraw

3 Grandchildren: Chelse Booker (Neal), Gracie McDade (Kody), and Logan McCraw

3 Great-Grandchildren: Trace Booker, Lyla Mae Walker and Magnolia McDade 

She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Ms. Truhitt is preceded in death by parents, JB and Ivonne Truhitt; siblings, Bill Truhitt and Pat Yates and two infant siblings.
