UNION: Memorial graveside services for Mr. Harold Wayne Herington will be held 6 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2026, at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in the House Community. Bro. Rusty Walton will officiate.

Harold Wayne Herrington, 81, of Union, Ms. passed peacefully at his home on July 23, 2026. He lived in Union most of his life. Wayne was born June 12, 1945. He had 38 years of Military Service and four years active duty in the Army Reserve to finish out his career. In his early years, he worked with Goodyear Tire Company and before his retirement, he worked several different locations in the Automotive and Tire Industry.

Survivors include his second wife: Judy French Herrington; daughter, Dana Garrett; nephew, Jeffery (Diane) Andrews; niece, Ashley (Daniel) Wade; stepson, Wayne (Kim) Smith; stepdaughter, Renee (Barry) Truhett; grandchildren, Jackson and Max Garret, Meredith Keady, Dylan Smith, and Savanna and Lance Thompson. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

Mr. Harold Wayne Herrington is preceded in death by his first wife, Bettye Ezelle Herrington; daughter, Heather; sister, Cathy Herrington Winstead and parents, Harstone and Kathryn Carter Herrington.
