UNION: Gloria May, 74, of Little Rock, MS passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 after being diagnosed eight months prior with metastatic tonsillar cancer, complicated by multiple strokes and heart disease.

She was survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara Welzbacher (Billy); sister, Kathy Hernandez; brothers, Joey Graham (Lula) and Kevin Childre; daughters, Kimberly Smith (Lee) and Melissa Walton (Benji); grandchildren, Brittney Smith (Cody Welde) and Brian Bradford, and great-grandchildren, Eli Welde, Macy Welde and Olivia Bradford. Ms. May is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hiram and Myrtle Graham; parents, Joseph Clyde "J.C." Graham and Norma Keen Graham Childre; ex-husband and dear friend, Jerry May, and her daughter, Katrina May.

Gloria obtained her BS degree in nursing and specialized in orthopedic care.  She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens, but was an artist by heart. She loved arts & crafts, sewing, wood burning and creating mosaics, but her absolute favorite activity was oil painting. She appreciated the beauty of nature and tried so hard to capture it.  No bare wall was safe from her touches of art.
