Services for Mrs. Glenda Bishop will be held at 4:00pm, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sulphur Springs Cemetery.  Bro. Michael Harper and Bro. Randall Creel will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00pm, Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

Mrs. Glenda Bishop, age: 79, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Survivors:

Loving Husband of 56 years:  Truman Bishop of Conehatta

1 Daughter: Tellie Roebuck (Gary) of Florence

2 Grandsons: Garrhett Roebuck and Logan Roebuck both of Florence

1 Sister: Sue Spears (Buddy) of Linwood

She is also survived my numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Glenda Bishop is preceded in death by her parents:  Morris and Sarah Amis; Six Brothers:  Jim Amis, John Amis, Mack Amis, Mike Amis, Reece Amis and Frank Amis; Two Sisters: Frances Buntyn and Winifred Buntyn

Pallbearers will be: Gary Roebuck, Garrhett Roebuck, Logan Roebuck, Terry Thrash, Ed Amis, and Robert Amis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mac Edwards and Tommy Anthony.

Mrs. Glenda was a lifetime member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

Glenda started cooking when she was 8 years old and enjoyed showing her love by cooking and sharing her delicious food with others. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
