Union: Graveside services for Ms. Emily Carolyn Smith will be held 10 am, Friday, September 4, 2026 at Greenland Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bro. Rusty Walton and Bro. Nick Smith will officiate.

There will be no visitation.

Ms. Smith, age 92, of Union died Tuesday, September 01, 2026.

Survivors:

Daughter: Teresa Harris (Everette)

She is also survived by special nephews, nieces and friends.

Ms. Smith is preceded in death by her parents, Ivey Melvin and Mertie Bell Laird; husband, James Carlton Smith; three sons, James Kevin , Tony and Timothy Smith and one daughter, Tammy Smith.

Pallbearers: James Earl Smith, Nick Smith and Jordan Smith
