Services for Mrs. Elsie McGrew Beemon Chamblee will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Antioch Christian Church with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. Kevin Meador and Bro. Wes Beasley will officiate.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the church.

Mrs. Elsie, of Union, was born on October 21, 1935 in Hickory, Mississippi and passed away peacefully on December 9, 2019, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Mrs Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Angie McGrew; husband, Gressett Beemon, and husband, Fred Allen Chamblee; Two sisters, Stella Sant and Ann Nelson; Two brothers, J.D. McGrew and Clinton McGrew.

Mrs. Elsie was a life long member of Antioch Christian Church and attended Pinkney Baptist Church. She loved playing the piano, singing, sewing and most of all, teaching children about Jesus in Sunday School and Church.
