Ecile was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sibling, and friend. She retired
from Midland Shirt Factory after 40 years as a dedicated employee. She attended church at
Emmanuel Baptist Church in Union where she was the oldest member. She loved her church
and her church family. She enjoyed getting together with her family, watching her great-
grandsons play, and sewing. All though she was a lady of few words, her presence was always
warm and welcoming. She loved her family with every ounce of her being. We will miss her
hugs and her sweet presence, but we are joyful that she is with her Lord and Savior.
Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself: that where I am, there you may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. John 14: 1-4
