UNION: Visitation for Mrs. Dorothy "Dee" Taylor will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union. A graveside service will follow visitation at 11:30 a.m. at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Greg Renfrow will officiate.

Dorothy Dawn "Dee" Taylor, 61 years old of Carthage, MS passed away on the morning of September 23rd. She was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother. A hard working, self-sacrificing woman of God who put all of her trust & faith in Jesus.

She spent most of her life as a cosmetologist before she received her calling to be a CNA. Giving love and care to the elderly. She had an unwavering & unconditional love for people & animals. She loved caring for others in general just because she could. She never met a stranger she didn't try to cook for or show hospitality of sorts. She never met an animal she didn't try to take home to rescue.

She fought the good fight. And she fought hard. But cancer won the battle this time. She doesn't have to fight anymore. Her battles are all over & she is now resting peacefully with God among the stars.

Husband: Kevin Taylor

Daughters: Laura Gilmer, Kelly Ortner and Heather McLean

11 Grandchildren

Sisters: Ronnie Thomas (Ricky) and Karen Forbes

Ms. Taylor is preceded in death by her sister, Renee Evans.

Pallbearers: Thad Humphreys, Gary Matthews, Daniel Jones, Corey Ortner and Mason Winters

Your family will miss you more than words can describe & your presence will forever be carried within us all. Spread your wings & explore the heavens for us until we meet again amongst the stars.
