UNION: Services for Ms. Dorothy Mowdy 2:30 pm, Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Gilmer's Chapel Church of God with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. Jason Price and Bro. Jerry Bennett will officiate.

Visitation will be held 4:30 pm - 6 pm, Saturday, January 20, at Milling Funeral Home of Union and also 30 minutes prior to services on Sunday.

Ms. Mowdy, 91, of Union, died Wednesday, January 17 at JG Alexander Nursing Home.

She was a longtime member of Gilmer's Chapel.

Survivors:

1 Son: David Mowdy and wife Alana

5 Grandchildren: Katilyn Rowzee, Marcus Mowdy, Brooklyn Mowdy, Nikolas Allen and Makayla Allen

1 Brother: Jimmy Nicholson

Ms. Mowdy was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Mowdy and nine siblings.

Pallbearers: Johnny Yates, Rudolph Williams, Ricky Moore, Elliot Stokes, Keith Richardson and Larry Hardy
