Darrell McElhenney, 64, of Decatur, passed away in his home on Friday,

January 31, 2020.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, February 3, 2020 at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ed Dickerson will be officiating.

Survivors: 2 Sons: Justin McElhenney of Decatur

Jared McElhenney (Jo Lyn) of Decatur

1 Daughter Rachel Boody (Josh) Pell City, AL

3 Grandchildren:  Katie, Jack, and Jordyn McElhenney

Sister: Debbie Skinner of Madison

Brother: Wendell McElhenney (Cindy) of Notasulga, AL

Nephew: Will McElhenney.

He was preceded in death by his parents: C.B. "Burley" and Beatrice McElhenney.

Pallbearers:  Jared McElhenney, Justin McElhenney, Andrew Strickland,

Jimmy Wyatt, Ray Addy, and Tommy Lister

Darrell did different types of construction his whole life. He enjoyed trail rides, country music and spending time with family, grandchildren and friends. He looked forward to the Neshoba County Fair every year.  He will be greatly missed.
