Union: Services for Mr. Danny Joe Daniels Jr. 41, of Dayton, TX (formerly of Little Rock, MS) will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel in Union, MS.  Bro. Chris Wells and Bro. Troy Moore will officiate.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at Milling Funeral Home of Union.

DJ was born and raised in Little Rock .Ms. He loved his children and any child he came to know. He loved fishing and hunting. He learned to play the guitar at a very young age and music instantly became his passion. He used his music to shine a light, be a bandaid or even to humor someone who needed to smile.  He loved praise and worship at church and making memories with his loved ones.

He is survived by his children:  Abby Daniels of Conroe, TX, Dylan Daniels of Shepherd, TX, Corbin Daniels of Cleveland, TX.  Bonus kids:  Hannah Roddey, Peyton Roddey, and Forest Duty all of Cleveland. Mother, Sarah Slusser, father, Danny Daniels and his bonus dad, Henry Rhodes. Sisters: JoAnna Collums and husband Johnny Collums, Carolyn Daniels and Melissa Alexander and Shohn of Dayton,TX.   Nieces: Amber Purvis and husband Trey of Meridian, Lyddia Jones of Little Rock, Harllie Davis of Dayton,TX and Kayli Harrison and husband Justin of Dayton TX.  Nephews:  Travis Dean and Tanner Spears of Dayton TX, and Kaven Alexander and wife McKenzie of Dayton, TX.
Great nephews:  Kamden and Walker Harrison and Maverik Alexander of Dayton, TX.

And numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a Special Friend, Rolinda Evans who all loved him.

He is preceded in death by his son,  Danny Joe "Trey" Daniels III; maternal grandmother, Alice Jean Bucklew and grandfather Johnny Dale Bucklew, paternal grandparents: Betty Francis Daniels and Winfred Deward Daniels; sister Tequila Deserie' Daniels; and numerous other loved ones.
