Visitation for Mr. Charles R. Thomas, of Brandon, will be held 10:30 – 11:45, Friday, March 11, 2022 at Milling Funeral Home of Union.

Graveside service will be held 12 pm, Friday, at the Union City Cemetery.

Bro. Rusty Walton will be officiating.

Mr. Thomas, 82, died Tuesday, March 8 at his home in Brandon, MS., surrounded by his family.

Charles served in the United States Navy and retired from Neel- Schaffer Inc. Engineering firm. He was a mentor to young people working in the construction and civil engineering fields.  Charles was an avid fisherman who loved to go camping, being outdoors and spending time with his wife and family.

5 Daughters: Tammy Upton Thornton (Scott) of Raymond; April Thomas Carpenter (Fox) of Mandeville, La.; Charlene Thomas Mallini (Tony) of Waveland; Jenea "Dee Dee" Warman (David) of Waveland; Renee Achee (Eric) of Brandon

One Sister: Betty Henry

One Brother: Paul Allen Thomas (Lynn)

He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Leotis and Lucille Thomas, his brother James Lee Thomas and his niece Carol Henry Graham
