Graveside services for Ms. Carolyn Watkins will be held 11 am, Friday, March 20, 2026, at MS Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, Mississippi.

Carolyn Easom Watkins, 87, of Auburn, Alabama, passed away peacefully following a long illness. She was born in Sebastopol, Mississippi, and lived in Newton, Mississippi, from 1973 until 2015.

Carolyn was a devoted military wife for 23 years and later owned and operated Carolyn's Boutique in Newton. She also worked as a dog groomer, serving many families and pets in the community.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie H. "Harry" Watkins; her son, Jack K. Watkins; her parents, Marvin and Lois Easom; and her brother, William A. Easom.

She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Best (Frank) of Auburn, Alabama; grandsons Brad Taylor of Daphne, Alabama, and Kyle Watkins of Charleston, South Carolina; daughter-in-law Diane Watkins of The Villages, Florida; and brother Bobby C. Easom of Newton, Mississippi.
