UNION:

Services for Mr.  Carl  Grimes of Decatur  will be held 1:00 pm Monday, November 4, 2024 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union Burial to follow at the Pine Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery in Newton.

Bro.  Ryan Cozart will officiate.

Visitation will be 11:00-1:00 prior to the services at Milling Funeral Home of Union.

Carl was a passionate outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and any outdoor activities. He also did woodworking and was very talented at it.

He loved his Wanda, his children, grandchildren, and his many friends and loved ones, and a very special fur baby,Toby.

His loving wife of 36 years, Wanda Grimes of Decatur

1 Daughter: Dana Walker (Bubba) of Decatur

3 Sons: Tony Grimes (Tina) of Newton, Scott Grimes (Sojourner) of Newton, Joey Grimes (Stephanie) of Mantachie

2 Step Children: Crystal Mitchell and Andy Parks both of Decatur

13 Grandchildren

9 Great Grandchildren

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Grimes is preceded in death by his Parents: Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Grimes, 1 Brother John Henry Johnson and 1 Sister Lucy J. Weeks.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Grimes, Cameron Grimes, Sebastian Grimes, Morgan Ayers, Hunter Walker and Tay Grimes.
