Services for Mrs. Candis "Candy" Cain Miles will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with burial in the Chunky Cemetery. Bro. Joseph Knight will officiate.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.at Milling Funeral Home of Union, and also one hour visitation prior to services Wednesday.

Mrs. Candy Miles passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023.

6 Nephews: Chris, Jarrod, Jake, Peyton, and Riley Cain, Connor Boggan

1 Niece: Olivia Cain

Mrs. Candy Miles is preceded in death by: Father: Lomax Cain Jr., Brother: Ernie Cain III, Grandparents: Juanita and Bill Butler, Raymond Puckett, Lomax Cain Jr. and Ethel Cain and Great-Grandparents: Molly and Jake Dean.

Pallbearers:  Myke Shirley, Jacob Griffith, Eric Jones, Max Dickerson, Stanley Bishop, and Reza Bazyari.

Candy was a 1993 graduate of Newton County High School and a 2010 graduate of Meridian Community College's nursing program. Candy's heart and passion was her family, and one of her life's greatest joys was raising her three children at home during the years between High School Graduation and going back to college to receive her degree in nursing.

After graduation, Candy found a great passion in the nursing field.  After working in several different hospitals and clinics, she found her home at Trend Health and Rehab, a place where she loved taking care of those in need.

Candy will be greatly missed by her family and countless friends.
