Bruce Selby Germany (Oct 13, 1937 - May 2, 2024).  Born in Moss, Mississippi, and raised in a pastor's home in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska.  Selby was an excellent football player in high school and went on to serve in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman; his military service was in Okinawa.

Over his lifetime, he became a skilled tradesman working in the construction industry that included vocational instruction at the high school and college levels, in both Florida and Arizona.

Selby is survived by his sisters, Earline (Lyle) Thompson, Sheron (Jerry) Douglas, and Marjorie Rauner; and wife (divorced) Cindy.  He is preceded in death by his daughter Michelle, his son Bruce, Jr., his parents, Rev. Earl and Floreine Germany, his brothers, Conrad, Phillip, and Royal.

In place of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in Selby's name to Bluff Springs Church of God, c/o Ed Germany 10041 Road 2220 , Union, MS, 39365.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11am, Thursday May 9, 2024 at the MS. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS.
