Funeral Services for Mrs. Billie Jean Spence Cleveland will be held at 2pm Thursday January 15, 2026 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel in Union.

Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church.

Bro. William Savell and Bro. Mark McDonald will officiate.

Visitation will be held 1-2 pm prior to the services at Milling Funeral Home in Union.

Mrs. Cleveland, 95, passed away Monday January 12, 2026.

Survivors include:

3 Sons: Calvin Cleveland (Cindy), Craig Cleveland (Michelle), Randy Cleveland (Nina)

Numerous grandchildren,  great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Mrs. Cleveland is also survived by a host of nieces and one nephew.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Billy James Cleveland; one grandson; one brother, Wilmer Spence and one sister, Shirley Glenn and her parents William Samuel and Macie Chaney Spence .

Serving as pallbearers will be: Lucas Cleveland, Houston Cleveland, Eric Cleveland, Josh McDonald, Miles McDonald, and Zander Bounds.

Mrs. Billie was a devoted member of Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church, where she faithfully served The Lord.  She was a devoted and caring homemaker who loved babysitting and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

The Cleveland family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Mt. Zion Cemetery Association.
