Graveside services for Ms. Betty Fanning Dear will be held 2p.m., Wednesday, January 14th, 2026, at Hickory City Cemetery.  Bro. John Cash will officiate.

Ms. Betty Fanning Dear, 92, passed away peacefully at her home, on January 09, 2026, surrounded by family.

Survivors:

1 Daughter: Stephanie Dear Agent (Terry)

2 Grandchildren: Adrian Roland (Rhiannon), Charlotte Roland and their father Michael Roland

Cousins: Mack Fanning (Marie), Tom Fanning (Gail) and Cillie Harrison Wallace (Alan)

Ms. Betty leaves behind many close friends, Hickory Methodist Church Family and First Methodist Protestant Church Family.

Ms. Betty Fanning Dear is preceded in death by husband: Joe Dear.

Pallbearers will be Adrian Roland, Michael Roland, Steven Davis, Henry Carmichael, Mack Fanning, and Richard Stampley.
