Services for Mr. Andrew Johnson will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 08, 2026 at Hudson Chapel Church of God with burial at Hudson Chapel Church of God Cemetery. Bro. Justin Chaney and Bro. Leray Evans will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, March 07, 2026, at Milling Funeral Home of Union.

Mr. Andrew Johnson passed away March 02, 2026.

AJ will be remembered for being a kind, witty, charming and charismatic man. He was a loving husband for almost 25 years. He never missed a chance to say how much he loved Trish to anyone who would listen. They were blessed to have such an amazing story to tell, of a love that will surpass death.

He loved all his children more than they could ever know. He was always telling stories about his kids and step kids. He always wanted the best for them.

He was funny. There was never a time you came across him that, by the end of the visit, you had not laughed so much that your jaw hurt. And if he picked on you, you knew he loved you a little extra.

He was always there to lend an ear, help a friend, or crack a joke when you had a bad day. He never made you feel less than important. His smile lit up a room and laugh was contagious.

To know AJ was to love AJ. He was the kind of man that you respected and appreciated. His presence will be missed beyond words, but his memory will live on in all of us that loved him, and that he loved so dearly.

3 Grandchildren: Zander Johnson, Bryce Johnson, and Brayden Johnson

3 Step Grandchildren: Conner Cater, Breeleigh Jay and Ethan Jay

1 Great-Grandson: Jett

2 Brothers-in-Law: Bobby Kendrick and Lonnie Gibson

1 Niece: Candi Blackwell (Billy)

1 Nephew: Lee Johnson (Chasity)

He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.

Mr. Andrew Johnson is preceded in death by his parents, Blythe and Sue Johnson; brother, Butch Johnson; in-laws, J.L. and Floyce Kendrick and sister-in-law: Darleen Gibson
