Services for Ms. Amie Lou Goforth will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Spring Creek Baptist Church.  Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM at the church until service time.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Bro. Kiah Hitt and Bro. James Jackson will officiate.

Mrs. Goforth, 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Neshoba County Nursing Home. She was born on April, 3, 1933.

Mrs. Goforth is proceeded in death by her husband, Elmo Goforth, sisters Addie Henson and Maggie Heblon, brother Charlie R. Langdon, and parents Bert and Myrtle Smith Langdon.

She is survived by her son J.V. Goforth (Linda), sisters, Willie Mae Lundy, Maxine McKeithen and Shirley Cliburn. Grandchildren, Brad Goforth (Shelly) and Brandy Hitt (Kiah), greatgrandchildren Jacob Goforth, Owen Hitt, Emma Goforth, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. During her working years,  Amie worked at Midland Shirt factory in Union and also at Garan at Philadelphia. Ms. Amie loved to read and be with her family.

Serving as pallbearers are Brad Goforth, Owen Hitt, Mike Savell, Jerry Ferguson, Larry Smith, Stacy Lashley.
